Homework

Week of October 3-7

Language Arts
This week we will be reading an informational text from the Reading Streets text.  We will analyze the text and discuss how informational text is different from narrative text.

The HOMEWORK  for today is : NONE

Please see that your son/daughter is reading 20 minutes each evening or 100 minutes per week.  I look for the title of the book in the lower part of the assignment notebook each day.

Spelling

There is NO SPELLING this week.

Home Reading: GOAL 100 minutes per week. I check assignment notebooks for parent signatures. You only need to SIGN one day during the week. That way I know that you are checking. You can sign everyday if you want.

We have started Chapter 9, Winning the Revolution.  There are a few Liberty Kids videos that we will watch as they match up with our text nicely.
